subtotal outline not working
I have a data list I wish to subtotal and outline. What is the trick to get
the outline feature to work. All I can get are subtotals below is change in description. Is there a view setting somewhere to see the 1, 2, 3 etc on left side of workbook Thanks Duane |

In xl2003 menus:

subtotal outline not working
hi dave
it is excel 2007. I get the subtotals but no outline. tried every method i googled. did the group, auto outline. i know it must be a check mark or simple setting i am missing Thanks Duane |

I'm sure that the same option exists in xl2007.
Office button|excel options And look for the Outline symbols option (maybe in a view category????) wrote: hi dave it is excel 2007.
