Default Maximum Fields in MS Query

Hi All,

I need to pull some data from MS Access to Excel using MS Query. I add the
table in the usual way but it won't return the data to Excel, it just does
nothing, no error etc.

I tried running the SQL and that said something about maximum fields being
255.

May table is pretty big 150 odd fields but only around 5,000 records but 150
fields is less than the 255 it says is the maximum?

Office 2003, Windows XP

Can anyone advise please?
