Try these steps, taken from a previous post by Debra Dalgleish:
To insert a picture into a comment: 1. Right-click the cell and choose 'Insert Comment'. 2. Clear any text from the comment. 3. Click on the comment border to select the comment 4. Choose FormatComment 5. On the Colours and Lines tab, click the drop-down arrow for colour. 6. click Fill Effects 7. On the picture tab, click Select Picture 8. Locate and select the picture 9. Click Insert, click OK, click OK -- Rgds Max xl 97 --- GMT+8, 1° 22' N 103° 45' E xdemechanik <atyahoo<dotcom ---- "RUSTYDK85" wrote in message ... how is it possible to add a picture to act as a caption to a cell in excel? ive seen it done before, when the mouse hovers over the cell a picture pops up like a caption. any ideas? |
