I have a spreadsheet which has some formulas which do not refresh properly.
They are simple "IF" formulas. If I press F9 or Options / Calculate Now, they do not refresh. They only way I can get them to work is F2 when I'm on the cell (revealing the formula in the Formula Line) and when it closes it refreshes. I have this formula in other sheets in the same spreadsheet but I don't have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks (and happy new year to all!) |

Why not show the formulas? Sometimes it helps to rebuild the dependency tree by pressing CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F9 -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "LinLin" wrote in message ... You could:
Select all the cells Edit|Replace what: = (equal sign) to: = (equal sign) replace all LinLin wrote: I have a spreadsheet which has some formulas which do not refresh properly. i've had the problem and it can be one of two reasons:
1. having a function that runs and runs in the backgroung - press CTRL-break to check that 2. oddly, my sheet has disappeared from the tree of objecxts, when i look under ALT-f11. this seems to be some excel corrupion because the sheet is not hidden. best to restart excel altogether and probably to copy-and-paste all the info to a fresh file... --- frmsrcurl: http://msgroups.net/microsoft.public...-does-not-work |
