Default calc now (F9) doesn't work

Hi

What might be the problem, when cell values with formulas
are not updated, even if i press F9 (or have the
calculation functionality set to "automatic") ?
I only can recalculate the cell, when i go to the end of
the formula and just press <Return again - without
changing anything in the formula.

Thanks for any hints

Hi Elis,

I sometimes have the same problem, can't seem to find a remedy for it but
try this. Highlight the whole page and click Edit Replace and then replace
the '=' sign with the '=' sign.

I know this sounds odd but it seems to kick start excel into working and is
the only way I can solve the problem.
