When I use the search function to look for a post I never get the latest
posts - usually just older ones and in no date order.
I find it very difficult to check if any answers have been made to my
questions as my post does not appear in the search results.

Ron - there have been problems over that last few days with items being
posted to the site. This has been resolved for the time being. Perhaps this
might have accounted for the problem that you have seen.

If you put Ron100 into the Search For: box and select the right section (eg
Excel Charts) you should get your posts echoing back.

Guess there must still be a problem. I tried Ron100 in Excel General
Questions and got this result :-

Your query for "Ron100" did not return results.

The following may help you find the results you were looking for:

* Check your spelling.
* Enter a term or phrase that's less specific.
* Try different phrasing.
* Try fewer words.

Yes, that web interface is broken. Better to use the newsgroup though the
news server directly, rather than the web interface.
