Default Question about comparing text columns in Excel?

I am trying to figure out how to create a Vlookup formula that would do the
following:

I want to find the names in Column D that are not in Column A.

Column A Column B Column C Column D Column E
Name $$ amount Blank Name $$ amount

Any suggestions?

Ah OK so that formula basically outputs that if an entry in column B isn't
found in Column A, it outputs "Not Exist" in Column C, correct?

Very helpful and exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks!

In that formula would I have to manually change the 'B1' value in each
subsequent cell in column C, or would Excel automatically be aware that if
I'm applying the formula to cell C2, that the 'B1' value in the example would
automatically become 'B2' then 'B3' etc.?
