Default how to generate password

Hi Vivien,

I have a worksheet that will create multiple random passwords from eight to
four characters. You get four passwords for each calculate.

You just hit F9 for Calculate and a new list of passwords is produced in
column D, a list of four new passwords each time.

I do not know if ALL the passwords are UNIQUE, but suspect the chances of a
duplicate is extremely rare.

If you want the workbook reply to me at and I will send
it as an attachment.

Regards,
Howard

Default how to generate password

Take the following action in EXCEL 2007:-

1. Launch EXCEL so that it has a new file in it.

2. Click on the Office Button (top left hand corer).

3. Prepare / Encrypt Document / enter the password that you want to use (for
example test).

- OK

- enter the password again (test)

- OK

- Save the file in the normal way (Ctrl-S)

4. Close the file in the normal way (Office Button in top left hand corner /
Close).

5. Now open the file once more. To get into it you will have to enter the
password (test).

If my comments have helped please hit Yes.

Thanks.
