Could you please help me. I am trying to alternate numbers IE: 400001,
400251, 400002,400252, 4000032, 400253 etc. Need a total of 1000 records. How can I make the fill series work with this? PaulaB |

Do I need to format my cells? I get 400002, 400252 repeated down to cell
1000 when I enter the =A1+1 =A2+1 They do not increment "Bob I" wrote: 400001 400251 =A1+1 =a2+1 select cells A3 and 4 and drag down. paulab wrote: Could you please help me. What happens when you copy down?
Make sure you're in automatic calculation mode. In xl2003 menus: tools|options|calculation tab paulab wrote: Do I need to format my cells? General, are you dragging down with the fill series handle?
