Hi,
Before I saved an Excel 2003 .xls file it was 168mb When it was saved as an Excel 2007 .xlsm macro-enabled workbook it shrunk to a mere 25mb Just curious where the other 143mb went to. |

2007 can create files that are a lot smaller than 2003 and below. It seems
to be smarter about storing redundant info in the file. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200909 "Gotroots" wrote: Hi, Before I saved an Excel 2003 .xls file it was 168mb When it was saved as an Excel 2007 .xlsm macro-enabled workbook it shrunk to a mere 25mb Just curious where the other 143mb went to. |
