Default Alphabetize in multiple columns

I have a total of 45 last names only with 15 in column A, 15 in column B
and 15 in column C. I need it this way for a reason instead of putting all
45 names in 1 column. How do I alphabetize from the first(last) name listed
in column A to the last name listed in column C?

In column D you could have this formula:

=A1&B1&C1

copied down to D45. Then include this column in your sort range and
sort using column D as the key field. Delete column D afterwards.

Hope this helps.

If you want to keep this in excel, I think you're going to have create a new
list (single column), sort that single column, and then put the data back into 3
columns.

On the other hand, you may find putting the data into MSWord and doing the
formatting (and sorting) there easier.
