Default How do I return to a previous worksheet in Excel?

I'm in one worksheet. I click a link that takes me to another worksheet or
click another tab to go to another one. How do I get back to the previous
worksheet? There is no "back" button that I can see that will take me back,
i.e., like the one you find in IE.

Thank you

Hi ciell-

Some Options:

To navigate to a sheet for the first time, a) click in the Name Box (left
end of the Formula Bar), type in SheetName!CellRef & press Enter, or b) use
the Go To Dialog Box (Ctrl+G) in the same way.

To return to a previous location, Ctrl+G & double-click the location in the
list.

If you need to work back & forth between specific sheets on a regular basis
you might also want to explore;

1- Named Ranges
2- Custom Views
3- Multiple Window in Same Workbook
4- Saving Workspaces

just to name a few.

CyberTaz,

Control G is a great suggestion. However, it does give the user a list of
worksheets to choose from rather than simply returning them to the original
sheet.

Is there a way to set the privious sheet as the orginating sheet and then
simply go to the originating sheet from the new sheet
