All cells are locked by default, but locking does not mean anything until
you protect the worksheet from ToolsProtection menu. --First select any cells that a user is allowed to change --Hit Ctrl + 1 and go to the 'Security' tab to unlock these cells. --Go to Tools-Protection-Protect Sheet, and you can assign a password (optional) If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "Laundone" wrote: Can you protect a sheet and workbook so that rows, columns and formulas cannot be changed, but others can add data (filling cells with data) |
