I entered a VLOOKUP formula in a cell using the wizard. In the wizard window,
the correct result is returned but when I hit enter to enter the formula in
the cell, it just displays the formula rather than executing and showing the
result. Is there something in EXCEL 2007 I need to do to get it to execute?

The cell may have been formatted as Text before you entered the formula. With
the cell selected, change its format to General, then press F2, then Enter.

Make sure that the cell isn't formatted as text. If it is, format as
General, then re-enter the formula (F2 or click in the formula bar, then
enter).
Make sure that you haven't set the option to view formulae (the latter
applies to the whole sheet).
