Default Query in excel

Hi,

I have list of list of around 5000 companies, but in that, companies are
repeated. How do I delete the repeated companies?

Sorting will not work in this.

Regards,
Ashwini

Default Query in excel

1. Suppose you have company names in ColA. Select the range in Col A
including the header. You need to have header for this column
2. From menu DataFilterAdvanced FilterCopy to another location
3. In copy to I have selected G1 and check 'Unique records only'
4. Click OK will give you the unique list of companies

If this post helps click Yes
