Default EXCEL XP under File

In EXCEL XP under File (drop down), it lists the last 4 files I opened. How
do I expand this to show the last 8 files I opened?

Default EXCEL XP under File

hi
on the menu bar....
ToolsoptionsGeneral tabrecently used file list:
enter the number of files you wish to show in the text box or use the spin
button provided. max files to show is nine. no way i know to increase that.
seems to be a built in ceiling. the check box should check itself if you
enter a number in the text box and uncheck itself if you delete the contents
of the text box.
