Default XL 2007 lose formats when opening file exported from Oracle Discov

I export excel reports from Oracle Discoverer. When opened in 2003, the cell
formats (colors, etc) are in tact.

In 2007, the formats are lost. There are no settings in Discoverer that
effect this one way or the other - you just export.

Is there a setting in 2007 that would eliminate this problem?
