Default Files on shared folder only save as read only

We have a few shared files that mutliple users have to modify from time to
time. When we create new files, they are all read only and we have to save
new versions. We should not have to do it this way.

What are we doing wrong?

Jeremy,

The problem may be that you have "Read-only recommended" active. To check
this: Save As -- Tools -- General Options. Make sure "Read-only
recommended" is not checked. (Tools is at the bottom left corner of Save As
window).

If this helps please click "yes"
