and where would these auto numbers appear????? As a side note, most intelegent excel users don't use merged cells. reason....it may look good on the screen but IT SCREWS everthing else up. supply more info on why the cell need to be merged and..... looking cool isn't a viable reason. also supply info to the first question ie where would the auto number appear???
