Embed powerpoint slideshow into excel workbook
I'd like to insert a powerpoint presentation into an excel worksheet so that
when I click on it the slideshow runs. Is there any way to do this so that I end up with one file? It worked once (using insert object create from file) but now excel opens the powerpoint file for editing instead of running the show. I'm using excel and powerpoint 2003. Thanks. |

instead of embedding MyPresentation.ppt file, can you save your presentation
as MyPresentation.pps (*.ppsx for 2007) and embed this file? -kc *Click YES if this helps "rm84" wrote: I'd like to insert a powerpoint presentation into an excel worksheet so that when I click on it the slideshow runs. Sorry I should have mentioned I tried it as both .ppt and .pps with the same
result. Are you sure you tried .pps? I inserted a PowerPoint show into Excel, and it
played when I double-clicked on it. I'm using 2007, but 2003 should work the same. Regards, Fred. "rm84" wrote in message ...
