I have the exact symptoms as the OP.
Tried the solution in the reply but same symptoms still. Any other ideas? I can't believe MS hasn't fixed this in SP2. Thanks,Joe On Sep 18, 4:24*pm, Gord Dibben <gorddibbATshawDOTca wrote: Try the usual fix for this. Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar 1) StartRun "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)OK. 2) StartRun "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)OK. See the space between exe and /regserver You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe. In that case StartRun "C:\yourpath\excel.exe" /regserver(quotes required)OK. In Microsoft Office Excel2007, click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options. *Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications check box in the General area. *Click OK. Now the files won'topenat all. *Has anyone seen this? *Thanks much! |
