![]() I think it works in Excel as well. open two of the excel files that you want to compare. goto Windows menu and click "Compare Side by Side with File2" usually this makes the file arrange horizontally, looks more like "Compare Top by Down" :) now again go to Windows menu and click Arrange and choose Vertical and click ok, the files would now look like side by side compare. regards, -kc *click YES if this helps. Thanks for your responce. Maybe I was not clear.
I mean, i want tto compare them, and make excel highlight the changes between the 2 files...more like the Review feature in Word where you can see the original file and on top of it the changes....Plesae note that in Excel I did not activite the review to start with, so the system did not record the changes.... I rememebr in Word 2003 if you try to save 2 files with the same name, you have an option of mergening the two files, and then you will see the changes usually underlined. thanks again "KC" wrote: I think it works in Excel as well. open two of the excel files that you want to compare. goto Windows menu and click "Compare Side by Side with File2" usually this makes the file arrange horizontally, looks more like "Compare Top by Down" :) now again go to Windows menu and click Arrange and choose Vertical and click ok, the files would now look like side by side compare. regards, -kc *click YES if this helps.
