Default help Fill formulas, highlight cells to specified destination

Hi all,

Thanks in advance..

but could you please advise on how to do the following

1-i have a huge list of data, and sometimes just highlighting by the mouse
and scrolling down takes forever...my data is in one column...how can i:
-highlight going down until a specified cell (for example Cell A3400)
-highlight going down until the end of text
-highlight going down until the text changes...for example teh first
thousand cells containt (current) so i want to highlight that, becuase the
next ones contain (archive)

2-filling the equation to teh end of text or a specified column. here this
one refers to copying or dragging the edge of a formula to the end of text, :
- how can it be down vertically? and horizontally?

thanks for your time

USe F5 to go to A3400, then press and hold Shift, then press End and the up arrow key.

-highlight going down until the end of text

Hold Shift, and press End then the down arrow key.

Select the column, Press Ctrl-F, enter archive, and press OK. You will be taken to the first
instance of archive. Then select the cell above, and use Shift End Up arrow.
Or use Data Filters to show only cells with Current.

Vertrically - Select the cell with the formula, and double-click the fill handle (the little black
box at the lower right of the selected cell.
Horizontally - Click and drag the fill handle to the right.

thanks for your time
