A VLOOKUP should work for you. As long as the 1st column has the common match
reference your looking for. VLOOKUP Looks in the first column of your data source (array) and moves across the row to return the value of a cell (column# 2), Before you begin, define (name) the sheet or reference area of your data. In this example I defined the sheet2 "worksheet2". In D2 =VLOOKUP(A2,worksheet2,2,FALSE) If this as clear as mud, read the help on VLOOKUPs. -- Thanks, Kevin "confused!!" wrote: I have three worksheets with similar pieces of information never formatted the same, but need to match.
