Hi everybody,
I have a model that I need to to use what if analysis tool ( if possibile ). Here is the problem I have a number is cell A2 that is used in some formulas throughout the worksheet and the output of those formulas are used in other formulas as input range , after several levels of formuals in different cells of the worksheet I get to a certain number in cell G100 (it's value depends on A2). Without changing the value in A2 I want to create a data table that would output values for different values in A2 -- Best regards, Edward |

Somewhat f a vague question. you can just have a list of numbers, then enter
your desired formula next to the list? perhaps use a VLOOKUP with your list to return the result you want to match? lets asume I have value 10 in cell A2 and after many levels of formulas in
different ranges I get a value 20 in cell G100. Now, I want a what if analysis that answer the question What was the value of G100 if A2 was 50? or what was the value of G100 if A2 was 200? and ... Th whole point is not to change original A2 value and any of the existing formulas ( there are hundreds of them ) it's possibile to do with what if analysis tool but i dont know how -- Best regards, Edward "Sean Timmons" wrote: Somewhat f a vague question. you can just have a list of numbers, then enter your desired formula next to the list? perhaps use a VLOOKUP with your list to return the result you want to match? Create a one-dimensional data table. In Excel, go to Data, What-if Analysis,
then Data Table, then follows input instructions. -kdp "Edward" wrote: Hi everybody, I have a model that I need to to use what if analysis tool ( if possibile ).
