Click on the box intersecting the row and column identifiers in order
to select all cells in the sheet. Then you can set the font and size from the format toolbar, or by right-clicking and selecting Format | Cells. Hope this helps. All that does is replace any existing explicit formatting with new explicit
formatting. The cells will still not change with the default style. "Pete_UK" wrote: Click on the box intersecting the row and column identifiers in order to select all cells in the sheet. Under FormatFont there is an option button "Normal Font"
Enable that button. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 9 Sep 2009 07:29:01 -0700, Mitch Powell wrote: All that does is replace any existing explicit formatting with new explicit formatting. Follow up question. Now that you've shown how to remove explicit formatting
for fonts, I got curious about how to do the same thing for other formatting elements (such as number formats) but do not see similar mechanisms for those. Does this mean that once a cell is explicitly formatting with a particular number format that it will always be so unless the Normal style is applied? A cell with a specific number format will retain that format until changed
through FormatCellsNumber or by changing style which would affect the sheet. Gord On Wed, 9 Sep 2009 12:27:02 -0700, Mitch Powell wrote: Follow up question.
