Thx Sean but when I formatted as ddd dd it only changed the digits and not
the weekdays. However, saying that - I have managed to sort the problem myself with the format of mmm-yyyy in custom format - weird or what? I'm on an XP system using 2007 Excel in the UK. Thnx pepes. "Sean Timmons" wrote: Assuming your cell is an actual date, then filling down will change both.. Your cell format would be set up in the custom section of format cells as ddd dd "Bleau" wrote: Hi Folks I need to enter Mon 17 Tues 18 Wed 19 etc When using the fill handle, it will only change 17 to 18 to 19 or Mon to Tues to Wed. I need to change BOTH so Mon 17 becomes Tues 18 and Wed 19 etc., Any ideas pepes? Apologies if this has already been raised but I couldn't find any previous postings. |
