Remove protection from sheet
I have a shared excel document created in 2007. It has 12 sheets (1 for each
month). All the sheets work fine except for August. If you try to edit a cell or make any changes whatsoever it brings up the normal window saying the cell you are trying to change is protected and read only. The issue is that the sheet is not protected in any way that I can see. If you go under the review tab the option to unprotect is greyed out and I can find no way to work around this. Any help would be appreciated thanks. |

IIRC you can not unprotect the sheet until you unshare the workbook.
