Default Spreadsheet will not open from Intranet Link

I have spreadsheets that I created in Office 2003 and I have links to the
spreadsheets saved out on our intranet. I have recently been upgraded to
Office 2007 and now when I click on those links excel opens but the
spreadsheet doesn't open. It does however save if I want to save the changes
when I exit out like I was in the spreadsheet.

Any ideas?
