Default Shortcut to switch from "fill down" to "copy" with mouse drag

I work extensively with "indicators" and "IDs" where a number can translate
into a series or it can be static for many cells. Is there a shortcut key I
can hold to "fill down" the same information for many in a series and then
let up to jump the sequence forward as it might normally. Look at the
following to get an idea.
