Give this a try,

With all files open, make file C your main focus.
Goto View tab, select Save Workspace.

That should accomplish your task. It will not show teh location of the
files, but they will each be listed in teh status bar and can be entered from
there.

Hello,

I have an active file C which is extracting data from file A and B. File D,
E and F in turn obtain data from file C.

In Excel 2002, I understandf that the user is not able to open all the
related files automatically when he open file C.

What about in Excel 2007 ? Is there an option to open the related file at
one go or selectively ? Can the user view the related file addresses at a
dialog box ?

This is important as the user might need to work on or view the other
related files at the same time.

Thanks

Low
