Excel 2003 - has automatically changed its currency format in the main
program from Australian Dollars to Euro. I have the Euro symbol present and all cells format in Euro. How can I change the program back to Aust.Dollars as a standard setting in the program? I do not want to have to change the format every time I open a new worksheet. |

Three things to try:
1) Open the Windows Control Panel, locate Regional Setting and see what you have there for currency 2) In Excel, on the Home tab, locate the Styles group, click Cell Styles. Locate Currency and right click the icon; use Modify and see what symbol is being used for currency 3) Have you somehow got a Book.xlxs in the XLSTART menu that is being used as the default template and it has euro for money? If none of these solve it, please come back. There has to be a solution. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "Maggie" wrote in message ...
