Hi Richard.
Use Conditional formatting. Click on Format - Conditional Formatin - select "Cell Value is" - "equal to" - and type in "Level 1" and choose green color from the format menue under the "Patterns" tab. Repeat for Level 2 & 3. The limit with conditional formatting is 3 conditions, which should work for you based on the description below. Hope this helps. Monika "Richard" wrote: Hi people, i have set up a training spreadsheet with names and tasks, each task under each name has a drop down list for level of training required, level 1,2,3, level 1 = competent and turns green, 2 = more training required and turns yellow, and so on, how can i then get the cell with persons name to turn green when all tasks are level 1 and green. Thanks in anticipation of your help. -- Lewy |
