Default Pivot Tables

Just upgraded from Excel 2002 to 2007.
Opened an existing XLS with pivot tables. When I select a cell within the
pivot table & go to the INSERT tab, the PIVOT TABLE & TABLE buttons are
greyed out and cannot access the pivot table wizard. How can I work around
this?

Thanks....

Hi,

The Insert, Pivot Table command is only for new pivot tables. Depending on
what you need the pivot table wizard for you can still access (some of its
features) by press Alt+D,P Also, you can add the toolbar button for the
PivotTable & Pivot Chart Report Wizard to the QAT, it is in the category
Commands Not in the Ribbon. (Office Button, Excel Options, Customize).

Warning: not all the functionality of the Wizard is accessable in 2007 and
not all of it behaves as it did in 2003.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.
