Default Distributing Pivot Tables where pivot table data can't be accessed

How can I circulate pivot tables to other team members without allowing them
to either see or tamper with the underlying database?

Excel isn't really designed to be secure. You could put the pivot table in a
different workbook than the original data, or delete the data sheet after
creating the pivot table. However, all one has to do to recreate the
original data table is to apply row and column totals to the pivot table,
then double click on the grand total cell to output all records of the data
into a new worksheet.
