I am trying to do this also. I am using 2003, and I check the box "Sort" when
protecting the worksheet, but I am not able to sort the sheet. I do not want to unlock the cells to allow input. If I turn on AutoFilter and allow users to use AutoFilter and Sort when I protect the sheet, I can use AutoFilter to filter for specific items but not to Sort. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
