This depends on the substance (liquid/gas) . 1 liter of water weighs 1
kilogram. For any thing else (Number of litres* gravity of that fluid) will
give you the Kilograms

You'll need to know the density of the substance.

If you don't know the density, you'll need to weigh the substance, or look it
up in a table someplace.
