Default Converting an old Quattro Pro .wb2 to Excel 2007

Anyone know if there is a converter out there that will work with Excel 2007?

Not sure if there is converter directly to Excel'07, but if you can convert
to Excel 97-2003, then 2007 can read that and save as 2007.

It's possible Quattro Pro (as part of WordPerfect Office) could be had
for even cheaper, and it's certain to be able to open .WB2 files and
almost certain to do a better job than anything else of saving them as
Excel 5 .XLS files.

For a *free* and *simple* way to convert old Quattro Pro (wb2) file to an Excel file is to open the file with the latest version of LibreOffice. This approach worked flawlessly for me with the added bonus that I could convert this to a variety of different formats (Excel, OpenOffice, PDF, etc).
