Default how to make ........ even after a title in a cell?

I am creating a table and want to put ................ to the end of the cell
and want it to be even in viewing and printing.
i.e.: [see below...I copied from the cells]

Format cell, number tab, custom:
@*.

This will to column width.

="Apple"&REPT(".",100)
="Apple"&REPT(".",100-LEN("Apple"))

Default how to make ........ even after a title in a cell?

If you would want to fill the cell with dots for *text only*,
allowing the regular entry of numbers, try this custom format:

* General;* -General;* 0;@*.
