Not enough information. How do you come up with the percentage for an
individual division? What is the percentage based on? For example, the percentages could be based on volume of sales. Division Sales Volume Percent of Total 1 10,000 13.2% 2 25,000 33.0% 3 13,500 17.8% 4 9,250 12.2% 5 18,000 23.8% ----------------------------------------- Tot: 75,750 100% "Scott" wrote: I am trying to create a reference sheet to calculate a series of percentage breakdown totals. For example, given a total of 5 divisions, I want to calculate 5 percentages, IN INCREMENTAL ORDER, that totals up to 100%. Now the number of divisions will be a set number, and all divisions will always add up to 100%. For example: 5 Divisions = 45%, 25%, 15%, 10%, 5% (maybe not those exact numbers, but something comparable.) Or for 3 divisions = 50%, 30%, 20% Any idea on how to accomplish this? Thanks |
