Default pivot tables change number format when switching pages

i have set up a pivot table with the companies on the page tab. when it is
set to "All", i formatted the cells with the number format, 2 decimals, and a
comma. when i switch to company 1, the formatting disappears. if i format
it with the comma, then switch to another company, then switch the format
disappears. why is this? and is there a way to prevent it?

thanks in advance.
