Im having several issues with excel 2007, would like to reinstall the program
with factory settings.

1. Do I have an option to revert all settings without re-installing?
2. If not, and i choose to reinstall, will all of my macros remain? Those
stored in personal.xls and all others?

You can try;

Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar

1) Start-Run- excel.exe /unregserver -OK.
2) Start-Run- excel.exe /regserver -OK.

See the space between exe and /regserver

You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe (most likely C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office12)

In that case Start-Run- "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\excel.exe" /regserver - OK

Note that quotes are required because of spaces in the path

Hi,

Here are a few other things to consider:

1. Are you using SP2, if not download and install it, this can be done from
Office Button, Excel Options, Resources, Check for Updates.
2. Try Office Button, Excel Options, Resources, Diagnose.
