Default Will I lose info when I un-install excel 2007

The trial version has expired on home and student office 2007. Now if I
un-install it, will I lose the data on it? When I tried out the the trial
version it transferred from excel to 2007 excel. I am trying to copy back to
an older version of excel, but can't.

Files (workbooks) on your hard drive or other media will remain even after
you uninstall Excel 2007... You will however need a 'reader' to open the
files in Excel 2003 which are in 2007 format (.xlsx, .xlsm etc.)
