Default how do I format AutoCAD drawings that are pasted into Excel 2007?

I have copied a drawing from AutoCAD and pasted it into Excel 2007 but I
cannot crop the image or change the transparency like I can for a picture
that is inserted. Any ideas on how to make this work now. It used to work
fine in Excel 2003.

Sometimes I find the best way is to paste the pciture into Power Point and
then copy from Power Point into excel. don't ask me why this works. Other
solutions \are to save the file as a jpeg file from autocad and then import
the pciture into excel using Insert - Picture.
