Default Formula Needed

I am in need of a formula that will calculate a months worth of salary. I am
currently using =(annual pay/12)x1

This is not calculating correctly.

Hi,

This formula would work with the annual salary in A1

=A1/12

Note there'e no need to multiply by 1 but if you needed to for some reason
it would be

=(A1/12)*1

Use Absolute references like

$A$1:$C$10

what type of wrong answer you are getting and in which form you want it.
