Excel 2007 dividing by 100 when it's not supposed to.
Excel 2007 has started automatically dividing new values I type in to cells
by 100. I can't tell if it's actually changing the value, or just the presentation. I have reformatted to General and number and changed decimals allowed. Nothing changes it. I have automatically calculate percentages turned off. Though I suppose turning that on could solve the problem, I prefer to have the actual values presented. If I format the cell as text ahead of time, it will keep the proper value. If I reformat the wrong value to text, it stays wrong. Please help! |

I finally searched for "100" and found the answer in the forum archives.
Turns out I had fixed decimals on. Thanks everyone! "efhw" wrote: Excel 2007 has started automatically dividing new values I type in to cells by 100.
