Default How to track business contracts

I would like to track business contracts with a 5 year cycle. I want to allow
sales people to begin prospecting new contracts within 18 months of the old
ones.
There are less than 100 contracts to track.
The system must be: easy to maintain; difficult to corrupt; ideally link
back to Access 2007; be visually attractive to the eye.
Does anyone have a simple answer.
Many thanks

Paul
