I was doing something (I don't recall what) and suddenly all of the excel
(2007) icons changed to become gray upward pointing arrows. How can I change them back to the standard excel icon. |

I've never heard of that happening, but here's where I would start.
First, close Excel, go to the Windows Start menu, choose Run and enter the following (with quotes) an press ENTER. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Excel.exe" /unregserver Then repeat this with but change /unregserver to /regserver Of course, you actual path to Excel.exe may be different. Adjust accordingly.
