Default How to blank off column if linkage cell has no value

Why not just "hide" the cells?

Hi, i have some issues to blanking the whole column. Let's say J1 to P28 is a
set of value and J1 to J28 are months from 1 to 24th. If my key data is
compute a value up to 12 months only, how can i blank off the cell from J17
to P28. Eg. as below with left column reflecting the months.

1 4,499 100,000 3,862 637
2 4,499 96,138 3,889 610
3 4,499 92,249 3,915 584
4 4,499 88,334 3,942 557
5 4,499 84,392 3,968 531
6 4,499 80,424 3,995 504
7 4,499 76,429 4,021 478
8 4,499 72,407 4,048 451
9 4,499 68,359 4,074 425
10 4,499 64,285 4,101 398
11 4,499 60,184 4,128 371
12 4,499 56,056 4,154 345
13 4,499 51,902 4,181 318
14 4,499 47,722 4,207 292
15 4,499 43,515 4,234 265
16 4,499 39,281 4,260 239
17 4,499 35,021 4,287 212
18 4,499 30,734 4,313 186
19 4,499 26,421 4,340 159
20 4,499 22,081 4,366 133
21 4,499 17,715 4,393 106
22 4,499 13,322 4,419 80
23 4,499 8,902 4,446 53
24 4,483 4,456 4,456 27

I do not intend to used the IF function but rather any programming needed or
parameter setting to set the cell to blank automatically. Thanks.
