If I select a range for printing - say A20:G60 and want to see how it will
print on the page - when I do a print preview it displays as if I'm going to print a full page. But I'm just going to print the selection. So how do I view what the selection will look like? Thanks. |

In xl2003 menus:

Excel 2007 - doesn't seem to work that way

Select the range | go to | page layout tab | print area : set print

You don't need to change the print area.

That's why it's important to include what version of excel you're using.
